Since Caleb goes to a charter school that's not within our city, I have to make sure he gets to and from school each day. Luckily, we have friends around us who go to the same school, and we've formed a pretty sweet carpool. I only have to drop kids off one morning each week, and I pick them up 2 afternoons each week. Naturally, Beckett comes with me. In the afternoons, we usually leave about a half hour before school lets out, so we can get there and get in a decent place in line.
One day last week as we were getting ready to head out the door, I was complaining that I was tired. Beckett responded with 'I'M not tired!' I said, 'Oh you're not, huh? Ok, sure.' So we got in the car and headed on our way, and 9 minutes after we left the house, I saw a sight like this:
Sorry kid, I think I called your bluff. ;)
