Krist Kringle Mart & Main St. Bethlehem

Kenn's Uncle Dee and Aunt Kathy live up in Copperas Cove (I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this before) and Aunt Kathy goes to a lot of crafty shows. She makes scarves to sell, and they're awesome. She makes a lot of ones with NFL team fabrics, and they are popular. So up in Copperas, they do this thing called the Krist Kringle Mart, which is basically a big craft show downtown where people show off their wares. We thought we'd go up and check it out, and we already had plans to go to Burnet and see the Main Street Bethlehem that same day, so we just made a night of it.

Beckett zonked out pretty quick in the car

And Caleb did not. :)

Caleb got a new hat from Aunt Kathy, and had a ball rockin' out with this toy guitar.
I have to admit, I LOVE this picture of him. :)

So after Copperas, we went up to Burnet.
The lines really weren't bad at all, and Caleb got to pet a goose.

He also got to pull the bucket for the well.
(horrible picture, but you couldn't see Caleb and Kenn until I enhanced it)

We even saw camels

and Caleb, who never goes near animals, PET one!

Me and the boys on a chariot
(there's a sentence I never thought I'd type)

They had donkeys, too, and Beckett thought those were pretty cool

After you go through the Bethlehem thing, they give you free hot cocoa and 'Bethlehem bread,' neither of which, of course, are safe for Caleb, so we went to Dairy Queen for a treat instead.
The boys were happy about that. :)

Main Street Bethlehem was actually really cool, but it's hard with small children, and hard for Kenn because he HATES being in the middle of a big crowd. It was really interesting to see how things might have been in the Savior's time, though. They do a good job on everything there. I'm glad we finally got to go see it.
