Cocoa and Cookies

So with the homemade match-box advent calendar has come MUCH holiday-themed activity at our house. One of my favorites was Cocoa and Cookies night. Can you believe this was the first time that EITHER of my children had ever had hot cocoa?? We'd just never done it with Caleb, because I hadn't ever made cocoa from scratch and the packets from the grocery store ALWAYS have milk in them. But by golly, I figured it out. I made a half batch with soy milk, and a half batch with normal milk, and it was good. :D

Caleb kept saying he didn't like hot cocoa, just hot chocolate. I tried to tell him they're the same thing, but he kept saying it for weeks afterwards. :P
