Overall a busy year for us in 2010...
Kenn (30.65 years) - He is still loving his job at National Instruments and this year became the Search Program Manager. He works closely with folks in Hungary and the Czech Republic and loves learning more about Search. He was called to the Executive Secretary here in our ward. It's a job that fits him well and he likes working with all the different leaders in the ward. No one answers their phone when he calls anymore though..Amy (29.25 years)- is still rocking the position of Domestic Goddess. She loves the garden (finally!) and is hard at work on this year's plantings. She wants to continue canning and jamming and all that fun stuff this year and forever. We even got a peach tree to plant ourselves. She LOVED running in the 10k with her great friend Candace and would like to eventually run a 1/2 marathon. She still enjoys just being home all day with the boys and will have a hard time seeing Caleb move into Kindergarten next year. Amy is also the Visiting Teaching Leader in the ward and really enjoys working so closely with the RS presidency. She also watched all 6 seasons of LOST in 4 months... and Kenn hated it, but she loved it.
Caleb (4.5 years)- is getting better and better at his words, and alphabet and other basic skills. We are often told by others how well he speaks and enunciates. His enthusiasm is contagious, there is no half-way with Caleb, he is either VERY sad, or VERY happy.. He loves giving talks in church in front of everyone, and even just talking when no one is listening... He is a wonderful big brother and he and Beckett will play outside for hours or roughhouse inside until they get kicked outside. He still very much loves books, Thomas, and has a new interest in dinosaurs and dragons. He has gotten very tall and we are often asked if he is already in Kindergarten. Lastly we love his curly hair and hope it never goes away and that we never have to cut it.
Beckett (2.25 years)- is growing up so fast. He is talking more and already knows a lot of colors and numbers and other things that he picks up from his older brother. While it's true that he is still our shy little guy, he is fearless when it comes to physical activity. Tackling his brother or his dad are common occurrences. I guess you could say he's our future football player. He is now in a regular bed and the transition was pretty painless actually, we can only hope potty training is as easy. He loves Thomas and trains as well, and still loves cars and trucks. He is very much the snuggler and will ask you to give him hugs and kisses a lot. He even closes his mouth now when he kisses you.We are extremely grateful for our blessings and for all we are blessed with. We have truly been blessed this year. We know that Christ, our Savior, lives and loves us. We know the there is a Prophet on the earth today and we are grateful to be members of the true Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
