So, on April 25th, 2010, I started a diet. I limited my calories to a certain number each day, and continued running and working out 3 times a week.
My goal at the start was to lose 30 pounds by my birthday, September 24th. In July or August, I extended the deadline to the day of the 10K, October 30th, in a bid to lose more than 30. Hopefully 36.
Well team, it's over. I didn't lose all 36 pounds that I wanted to.
But I DID lose 32. :)
Here's me, 6 months ago, 176 lbs.
And here's me again, yesterday, 144 lbs. :D
No one is ever allowed to tell me that it can't be done, because I know darn well it can.
But man, it is SO nice to not be counting the calories in every single thing I eat. I am a little afraid that I'll just gain it all right back, but I think if I keep running and keep trying to curb my sweet tooth, I'll be alright.
